Understanding Earnings & Payouts

This guide explains how earnings work on Tunog Kalye Radio Hub, including our revenue model, payout schedules, and how to track your income.

The Revenue Model

Tunog Kalye uses a transparent 90/10 revenue split:

• 90% goes directly to you, the artist
• 10% is retained by Tunog Kalye for operation costs, covering platform maintenance, server hosting, bandwidth, and ongoing development

This split applies to all sales through your Kanto Store, including physical merch, digital downloads, and bundled products.

Processing Fees

Stripe charges standard payment processing fees on each transaction:

• Credit/Debit Cards: 2.9% + $0.30 USD
• International Cards: Additional 1-2% may apply

These fees are deducted from your 90% share before payout. For example, on a $20 sale:

Tracking Your Earnings

Visit /artist/dashboard/earnings to see:

• Total Revenue — All-time sales across all products
• Pending Balance — Funds from recent sales awaiting payout
• Available Balance — Funds ready for withdrawal
• Payout History — Complete log of all payouts processed
• Product Breakdown — Revenue by individual product

Payout Schedule

Payouts are processed on a quarterly schedule by default:

• Q1 Payout: January 1 – March 31 → Processed by April 15
• Q2 Payout: April 1 – June 30 → Processed by July 15
• Q3 Payout: July 1 – September 30 → Processed by October 15
• Q4 Payout: October 1 – December 31 → Processed by January 15

You can switch to monthly payouts once your cumulative earnings exceed $500.

Withholding & Taxes

Tunog Kalye does not withhold taxes. You are responsible for reporting your earnings according to your local tax laws. We provide downloadable earning statements that you can use for tax filing.

Tips & Donations

Fans can also send you direct tips via the Tip Jar on your artist page. Tips are processed through Stripe with no platform fee — you receive 100% minus Stripe's processing fee.
