Getting Started as an Artist

Welcome to Tunog Kalye Radio Hub! This guide walks you through everything you need to set up your artist presence and start reaching fans on our platform.

Creating Your Account

To get started, head over to the Artist Application page at /artist/dashboard/apply. You'll need to provide:

• Artist Name — Your stage name or band name as you want it to appear across the platform
• Bio — A short description of who you are and what kind of music you make
• Genre Tags — Select all genres that apply (OPM, Pinoy Rock, Indie Pop, Lo-fi, etc.)
• Social Links — Connect your Facebook, YouTube, Spotify, and other profiles
• Profile Image — A high-quality photo or logo (recommended: 500x500px)

Once submitted, our team reviews applications within 24-48 hours. We verify that you are an independent Filipino artist or band to maintain the integrity of the platform.

Setting Up Your Profile

After approval, you'll land on your Artist Dashboard at /artist/dashboard. From here you can:

1. Complete your profile — Add a banner image, location, and detailed bio
2. Customize your store page — Your store URL will be /artist/your-slug
3. Upload music — Submit tracks for radio airplay consideration
4. Enable Stripe — Set up payments to sell merch and digital products

Verification Badge

Verified artists receive a blue checkmark badge on their profile, which signals authenticity to fans. Verification requires:

• An active presence on at least one external platform (Spotify, YouTube, etc.)
• A minimum of 3 released tracks (demos are acceptable)
• Profile completeness of at least 80%

What Happens Next

Once your profile is live, you automatically appear in the Artists Directory at /artists. Fans can follow you, browse your products, and discover your music through the Tunog Kalye ecosystem.
